Location: Clayton, NJ. Gloucester County
Size: 58 acres
Depth: Average depth 3.9 feet.
Ramp and Parking: There is a good concrete boat ramp with a dock along side it. The ramp doesn't have much incline, but it is possible to launch all sizes of boats. Adequate parking.
Motor Limits: Electric trolling motors only.
Rules & Regulations: As it is in a county park, it opens at sunrise and closes at dusk. A "Use Agreement" form must be signed and submitted prior to holding a tournament there. The contact for scheduling tournaments and obtaining the form is Terry Dalton, Recreation Supervison at 856-881-0845.Reportedly, you can get the park ranger to open the gate early by calling Gloucester County Parks & Recreation at 856-251-6710. A list of the lake rules are posted on the ramp entrance road and by the boat ramp; none are unreasonable.
Comments: Very shallow at the upper end and loaded with lillypads. About 2-5 feet deep in the center portion with a lot of stumps. Somewhat deeper at the lower end toward the dam.

Directions: Located in Scotland Run Park in Clayton. Ramp entrance road is on Fries Mill Road (Rt 655), 0.2 miles north of Rt 610 and 2.3 miles south of Rt 322. The ramp road is on the east side of Fries Mill Road. (Note: The sign for the boat ramp faces south and cannot be seen when coming from the north on Fries Mill Road.) From Route 55:
From the east: Take the Black Horse Pike west. (Traveling west, the Black Horse Pike is Rt 322/Rt 40 from Atlantic City until you reach Hamilton Mall, at which point it becomes Rt 322 only.) Follow the BHP west to Williamstown, past Gallo Clothing on the right, to Corkery Lane (Rt 612). There is a traffic light at the Rt 612 intersection and a Wawa on the left after the light. Turn left onto Rt 612. Proceed onto Rt 612 and continue on this road. It eventually becomes Rt 610 (Rt 612 turns left at an intersection, but you continue straight). Follow Rt 610 past Gleason's Place on the left (usual home of our pre-season meetings) and then the lake on the right. At the next traffic light, trun right onto Fries Mill Road (Rt 655). The launch area entrance road is 0.2 miles up Fries Mill Road on the right. Follow the entrance road to the parking lot and ramp.
