Mirror Lake Information
Location: Browns Mills (Pemberton Township), NJ. Burlington County
Size: 250 acres
Depth: Mean 5.7 feet
Ramp and Parking: A new boat ramp was opened during 2007. It is located just west of the old ramp. The traffic flows one-way (clockwise) through the launch ramp area. The turn-around area is a bit bigger than the one for the previous ramp. The ramp itself is dirt, but is steep and has a decent drop-off. The parking area is a half-block west of the ramp, across from the public beach. There is no parking at the launch ramp area itself. New for 2013, Pemberton has imposed a $25 annual ramp fee.
Motor Limits: Electric trolling motors only.
Comments: Being a dammed up creek, it is a long, narrow body of water. Located on the north branch of the Rancocas Creek, near the Fort Dix military reservation. The east end is shallower and weedy. The west end (dam end) is deeper and has more lilly pads, laydown trees, islands and coves.
