Comments: Located within Belleplain State Park, East Creek is known primarily as a pickerel lake because of its large population of them. However, it has produced some large bass. Depending on the time of year and extended weather conditions, it can become heavily grassed up or covered with Lilly pads. The top half of the lake is very stumpy.
Need for morning quiet?: No
Directions: From Route 55: Follow Rt 55 south to its end, where it joins Rt 47. Continue on Route 47 south until it forks and bear left onto Rt 347. Follow Rt 347 for several miles, passing a small pond on the left. Continue for a couple more miles to where there's a "2" mile marker on the right. The lake ramp is on the lefthand side of the road just after that sign, just before the guard rail.
